01 / Start with the failure
Not every lean
needs a new line.
Send a clear photo of the affected section, both ends of the run and the access route if possible. We will ask what moved, when it happened and whether the fence is shared, before suggesting a sensible next step.
Leaning or loose lines
Find out whether the failure is at the post, ground, fixings or panel before simply pushing it upright again.
Gate adjustments
Review sagging leaves, worn hinges, latches, clearances and posts so the gate closes properly and stays aligned.
02 / Repair or replace
Cheap twice
is not cheap.
If posts have failed below ground, the repair needs to address the support rather than hide the movement with a new panel. If a repair will not be reliable or the materials cannot be matched, we will explain why a replacement section is the better long-term route.
- Photograph the whole run, not only the damaged spot.
- Tell us if the fence is shared or the boundary position is uncertain.
- Keep access, removal and disposal in the written quote.

A bay is the span between two posts. A damaged panel does not always mean a one-panel job. A failed post, footing, adjoining panel or gate support can change the work, so we do not assume a standard six-foot section from one photograph.

- When it moved, whether the boundary is shared and what you would like to keep if it can be saved.
